"Innovative Solutions and Partnerships for the Global Goals"
- The Foundation for the Support of the United Nations, (FSUN) along with strategic partners IBM, IMPACT Leadership 21, Moeda and Reach 4 Partners, is hosting a dinner and high level networking reception, "Innovative Solutions and Partnerships for the Global Goals" to coincide with the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The event is invitation only and will be held on 22 September, 2017 5:30-8:30 pm at the historic Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street, New York.
In attendance will be representatives and Ambassadors of UN Member States, international, regional and other organizations, senior officials from the United Nations, investors and leaders from the private and business sector, philanthropy as well as representatives from civil society, academia and the media. Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury, former United Nations Under-Secretary General and High Representative of the United Nations, the architect of the landmark UNSCR 1325, will be giving the Welcome and Opening Remarks.
During the program prior to dinner, we will be featuring 3 innovative global initiatives -- technology based platforms that are disrupting the way forward to leverage solutions and partnerships for the UN-led, landmark Global Goals for Sustainable Development (Agenda 2030).
We are seeing a historic significant shift in the changing business environment, where businesses see greater shared value and potential returns in helping societies become more prosperous -- by supporting longer-term developmental efforts than by simply relying on short term profits. Our efforts are strategically focused on leveraging this economic and social shift -- and providing world class collaborations through public-private partnerships.
We look forward to the honor of welcoming you at the event!
